Below is a list of curated options that are all within 5 or so driving minutes (some within minutes walking distance) of Sweet Pea's Farm Kitchen where the dinner reception will be.
In order to give yourself plenty of time for travel and not missing the ceremony, you will need to be in Bar Harbor the night before on September 30th. So that should be the first night you plan to stay overnight.
We are lodging close by to where the dinner reception will be at the Edgewater Motel Cottages and Suites. Sweet Pea's is about ~15 minutes outside of downtown Bar Harbor and ~30 minutes from the ceremony spot in the park. If we can coordinate/figure out lodging sooner than later, shuttle options could be arranged.
See map below for reference!
We already have some rooms booked at this property - so if you want to stay near everyone - we recommend you securing a room here. 50% deposit is due upon booking and the balance is due 7 days before check in.
30 minute walk (do not recommend 😅) and 4 minute drive to dinner reception location.
**This option may have a shuttle option, stay tuned!
This place is located directly across the street from where the dinner reception will be (3 minute walk, 1 minute drive).
This is a motel style option that is a 1 minute drive and 7 minute walk from dinner reception location.
Quaint Bed and Breakfast positioned right between where we are staying and the dinner reception location (15 minute walk, 3 minute drive).
Take a look and see if you would be interested in what this place has to offer!
This is a larger option for a more full size house/cottage option if you want more room.
11 minute walk to dinner reception, 2 minute drive.
This property essentially shares a driveway with the dinner reception location, they are direct neighbors. Short 1 minute walk. Aside from location, this is the lowest budget/accommodation option.
This is a quick walk from one of the loop road parking lots. There will be a spot for everyone to stand during the short ceremony.
We will have two group activities planned going into the weekend following the wedding (Friday + Saturday).
A few group meals sprinkled in for those who want to join (a breakfast here, a lunch and dinner there - not for every meal of everyday). We will have more details on this as RSVPs come in on the specific group activities below.
For those who are interested in staying into the weekend - there are loose plans for a short (easy) hike...a leisurely nature walk somewhere within the park and some sort of boat cruise!
If you do end up staying through the weekend, there will be plenty of downtime between the group activities and lots of fun things to explore at your leisure!

You only need a standard pass ($35 per vehicle) which is valid for 7 days. For those of us who plan to go on the nature walk on Saturday, the pass will still be valid for that day!
For anyone interested in driving to the top of Cadillac Mountain to catch one of the first glimpses of the sunrise on the east coast, that is a separate reservation that would need to be purchased in addition to the park entry pass. If you are interested in getting this sunrise reservation and have never done so before - reach out! The process is a little tricky! You can also look it up on the same link provided above as well!
